The Bijeljina – Brčko highway section is part of the strategic project of the Republika Srpska, which is the construction of a highway from Belgrade to Banja Luka, through the territory of the Republika Srpska.

• The works are being carried out under the contract on financing, design and execution of works No. 013-1640/23 dated 23.02.2023.
• Total contract value: 346,995,317.94 KM (excluding VAT)
  • Design and execution: 274,668,800.00 KM (excluding VAT)
  • Financing: 72,326,517.94 KM (excluding VAT)
• Contractor: Group of contractors: "China Overseas Engineering Group Co", Ltd. Building 7, No. 1 Zizhuyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing, China (authorized representative of the group) and “China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group Co”, Ltd.; No. 96 Wangjiang East Street, Baohe District, Hefei, Anhui, China (member of the group)
• Financing institutions: “China Construction Bank Corporation Beijing Branch” and “Export-Import Bank of China”.
• The length of the section is about 17 km.
• The deadline for the execution of the works is 1095 days from the start date.
• The deadline for the design is 180 days from the start date.
