

A-D. of the Public Enterprise Autoputevi Republike Srpske, Radovan Višković, emphasized that the Republika Srpska is in an impressive investment cycle with 112 km of highways under construction, including key sections of strategic Belgrade-Banja Luka highway project: Vukosavlje-Brčko, Brčko-Bijeljina, Rača-Bijeljina, and Prijedor-Banja Luka highway. Višković also announced start of construction of Bijeljina-Brčko section, preparation of the Adriatic-Ionian Highway route, and company's new visual identity.

Head of the Information Technology and Systems Service at the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska" d.o.o. Banja Luka, Nemanja Karanović, confirmed to RTRS that more than 400 users, on the first day after the interoperability system with Serbia was put into operation, successfully registered to use the electronic toll collection service with a single TAG device on highways in Republika Srpska and Serbia.

As of June 4, 2026, the Public Enterprise Autoputevi Republika Srpska has enabled the use of a single TAG device for electronic toll payment on highways in Republika Srpska and Serbia by integrating it into the joint "Toll4All" system. Users activate the "ExtToll" service via the "Autoputevi RS - ENP" mobile application or the enp.autoputevrs.com portal, add a payment card, and within 15 minutes can use the TAG device on Serbian highways without stopping at toll ramps.

A representative of the Public Enterprise Autoputevi Republika Srpska participated in a coordination meeting on the construction of the Šepak-Banja Luka-Novi Grad gas pipeline, one of the most significant development projects in the Republika Srpska, which will enable a more secure supply of natural gas, diversification of energy sources, and economic development. The Law on a Special Expropriation Procedure was adopted to accelerate property and legal procedures.

The management of the Public Enterprise Autoputevi Republic of Srpska held a regular session at which 18 decisions were made regarding exemptions from paying tolls for disabilities and rare diseases. Requests to initiate public procurement and statements from the RS Ombudsman regarding the implementation of the Vukosavlje-Brcko, Brcko-Rača, Banja Luka-Prijedor highway projects, access roads on the Banja Luka-Doboj highway, and the future Airport loop were adopted.

RS Prime Minister Savo Minić, Transport Minister Zoran Stevanović and Acting Director of the Public Enterprise Autoputevi RS Radovan Višković visited the construction site of the Banja Luka–Prijedor highway in Ivanjska, where the Chinese company Shandong informed them about the current dynamics and work plans. This is a 40 km long road, with a designed speed of 130 km/h and two driving lanes and one stop lane in both directions, as one of the most important infrastructure projects in this part of RS.

Acting Director of Autoputevi RS, Radovan Višković, solemnly opened the international expert conference "BUM 2026" in Banja Luka, emphasizing that traffic claims 1.2 million lives annually and that the promotion of collective travel and the concept of a "city without cars" is a strategic goal. The Republika Srpska currently operates 111 km of highways, another 120 km of new sections are under construction, and total investments in road infrastructure reach three billion KM.

Acting Director of the Autoputevi RS, Radovan Višković, announced that Republika Srpska will double its highway network from the current 111 to over 220 kilometers in the next three to four years, with the key Belgrade-Banja Luka highway project in an advanced stage of implementation. Negotiations with the World Bank are underway for financing the Doboj-Vukosavlje section, while the Bijeljina-Zvornik-Podromanija expressways and the Adriatic-Ionian Highway route through Herzegovina are in preparation.

The management of the RS Highways Public Company met in Banja Luka with the Chairman of the China Construction Corporation Zhang Jin Jun who confirmed the additional engagement of the operation to intensify work on the Vukosavlje-Brcko section, part of the strategic Belgrade-Banja Luka highway. The opening of new construction sites was agreed upon, as well as monthly meetings at the highest level to monitor the dynamic plan. Chinese company is also engaged on the Prijedor-Banja Luka section of the highway.

Acting Director of the Public Enterprise Autoputevi RS Radovan Višković visited the construction site of the first section of the Belgrade-Banja Luka highway on the Rača-Bijeljina route, with a special focus on the first seven kilometers from the new bridge on the Sava River to the future Brodac loop. Višković called on all participants to maximize their engagement during the construction season, emphasizing the strategic and national importance of the project.

On the occasion of Spasovdan, the patron saint day of Nevesinje, Radovan Višković received the Municipality Charter for his contribution to the development of Nevesinje and major infrastructure projects.

Contracts for donation grants in Herzegovina have been signed, continuing support for local communities and the implementation of important projects focused on infrastructure development and improving citizens’ quality of life.

The new bridge over the Sava River has officially been opened to traffic, improving transport connectivity, the flow of goods and passengers, and regional infrastructure cooperation.

A Management Board session of the Public Enterprise “Motorways of Republika Srpska” was held, focusing on key activities, infrastructure projects, and plans for the further development of the road network.

The importance of opening the new bridge over the Sava River as soon as possible was emphasized, as it will improve transport connectivity, economic development, and regional cooperation.

A decision has been adopted on the distribution of profits of the Public Enterprise “Motorways of Republika Srpska” for 2025, aimed at further improving operations and implementing infrastructure projects.
