Acting Director of the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republike Srpske" d.o.o. Banja Luka Radovan Višković, while appearing on the Morning Program of the Radio and Television of the Republic of Srpska, emphasized that the Republic of Srpska is currently in an impressive investment cycle in the field of road infrastructure, primarily the construction of highways.

- We are in the phase of implementing another 112 kilometers of highway. There are also expressways, and the project documentation from Trebinje to Gacko and further towards Višegrad. The 40-kilometer section Prijedor - Banja Luka is under construction, and a bypass around Banja Luka, as well as a highway to Mrkonjić Grad - Višković, remind us of some of the major projects in Srpska.

However, the national interest is the construction of the highway from Belgrade to Banja Luka, and further all the way to Prijedor.

- We have the Vukosavlje - Brcko section, 31.5 kilometers long, and the Brcko - Bijeljina section, 17 kilometers long. The construction of the Rača - Bijeljina highway, 20 kilometers long, is in an advanced stage, and Serbia is building a section from Rača to Kuzmin. At the end of this week, we will also begin construction of the Bijeljina - Brčko section, 17 kilometers long - added Višković.

There is also a lot of talk about the Adriatic - Ionian transversal, which runs from Italy to Thessaloniki in Greece, and one part should also go through the Republika Srpska.

- Part of it will go through Trebinje. When we choose the final route, we will start parceling and accompanying documentation, in order to start construction as soon as possible - said Višković.

Director Višković also spoke at the celebration of 17 years of work and existence of the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska", emphasizing that today in Banja Luka, the new visual identity of the company will be ceremonially presented.

-When "Autoputevi Republika Srpska" celebrates its anniversary in a year, we will have new kilometers of highways, which is a priority for our company - concluded Višković.
