08.06.2026
In its 18th year of operation, the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska" has entered a new, modern era with a new, modern visual identity and a contemporary website, where users will have access to the latest information on the work of the company, the implementation of projects, as well as numerous other novelties.
The presentation of the new logo and website was held as part of the ceremonial marking of 17 years of operation and existence of the company. The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska, Savo Minić, the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republika Srpska, Zoran Stevanović, the Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Ecology Bojan Vipotnik, MPs, business partners, and employees of the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska".
The acting director of the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska", Radovan Višković, in his address to the audience, said that 17 years ago, when this company started operating, the Republika Srpska did not have a single kilometer of highway, and today it manages a network of 111 kilometers. Višković recalled that the first highway in the Republika Srpska, on the European route E 661 Gradiška Banja Luka, was fully opened to traffic at the end of November 2011, and that by the middle of the following year, perhaps the most beautiful facility in the highway network, the Mahovljanska loop, was built as a connection between two highways. Višković emphasized that construction has not stopped since then, because the construction of the "9th of January" on the route from Banja Luka to Prnjavor followed, then the first section of the Pan-European Corridor Five c, then the long-awaited bridge over the Sava River near Gradiška, and now work is underway on the second section of Corridor Five c, known as the Doboj bypass. However, the priority is connecting Belgrade and Banja Luka with a highway, which will run entirely through the territory of the Republika Srpska. - This is a strategic project of the Republika Srpska, and its implementation is taking a long time. It is known that we are building the section from Rača to Bijeljina, Chinese partners are carrying out preparatory work on the Vukosavlje - Brcko section, and on Friday, the construction of the Bijeljina - Brcko section begins. We are also working hard to define the financing of the remaining section of Corridor Five C, from Doboj to Vukosavlje, and we are also planning expressway projects in the east and south of Srpska – explained Višković, adding that a modern road network is a basic prerequisite for any development.
He finally thanked the employees of the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska", emphasizing that this company is made up of high-quality, honest, and professional people, without whom the projects could not be implemented at such a high level.
The Minister of Transport and Communications of Republika Srpska, Zoran Stevanović, congratulated the management and employees of the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska" on this important day, recalling that the goal of the Government of Republika Srpska is to maximize the implementation of these projects.
The same was said by Prime Minister Savo Minić, who said that Srpska is only as strong as its infrastructure. He took the opportunity to emphasize that the Public Enterprise "Autoputevi Republika Srpska" is an extremely healthy and strong company, and that only such a company can carry out the implementation of such large infrastructure projects. Minić emphasized that highways are a mirror of every state. - People return to good roads. Good roads imply safety, not only in traffic, but also in terms of investment - emphasized Minić, adding that the Government of Republika Srpska will today submit a final letter of intent to one of the potential partners in the construction of the highway section on the Pet ce Corridor, from Doboj to Vukosavlje.
