Acting Director of the Public Enterprise Autoputevi RS Radovan Višković opened the international expert conference "BUM 2026" in Banja Luka, emphasizing that traffic accidents claim 1.2 million lives each year and that promoting collective transportation and the concept of a "car-free city" have been set as strategic priorities. When it comes to road infrastructure, the Republika Srpska currently has 111 kilometers of highways, while an additional 120 kilometers are under construction.
